About me

I am a mother, a midwife, and an artist. My journey with art began long before I ever imagined it would become my life’s work. I studied Fine Art at the University of Wales – Trinity Saint David, earning a BA (Hons), but for many years painting was simply a beloved hobby.

Everything changed when I began my training as a midwife and welcomed my first child. In those transformative years, I witnessed women in the raw, powerful beauty of birth, and I discovered a new wellspring of inspiration. The strength of the female body, the resilience of the spirit, and the sacred journey into motherhood became the heart of my work.

Breastfeeding holds a special place in my art. It is so much more than nourishment; it is love made visible – a profound connection between mother and child, where life, comfort, and closeness flow together. Capturing these moments feels like preserving something timeless, something worth celebrating again and again.

Over time, my paintings have grown beyond my own experiences. I now have the honour of creating portraits for women across the world – intimate glimpses into their lives, their children, and the tender moments they hold dear.

Through my art, I aim to honour the miracles of birth and breastfeeding, the quiet and fierce power of women, and the beauty that lives in motherhood’s every form.
